About Pris
As one of London's few Hong Kong-born female photographers, Pris brings a calm, intuitive presence that puts couples and families instantly at ease.
A Hong Kong–born storyteller behind the lens in London
I'm Prisces(Pris) — a Hong Kong-born, London-based photographer, and the person behind Prisographs. Over the past decade I've photographed more than 1,000 clients across London and beyond, from couples marking their engagement to travellers capturing a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Since secondary school, I carried a camera with me every day, quietly documenting life as it happened. My first real introduction to photography came during my Higher Diploma studies — the photography module lasted only half a year, but it was enough to set me off teaching myself, and I never stopped.
A designer's eye, a photographer's heart
Before founding Prisographs, I spent years as a designer at Hong Kong Television Network (HKTV) and The Hong Kong Jockey Club — two of Hong Kong's recognised institutions. That background shaped how I see: an instinct for composition, colour and brand storytelling that now defines every frame I create. Eventually, I went back to study, earning a BA in Communication (Photography), turning years of self-taught practice and design instinct into a formal photographic language. Each session comes with a considered concept, a refined signature colour grade, and a level of polish you'd expect from a design studio rather than a quick photo shoot.
Between two cultures
Born and raised in Hong Kong and now based in London, I move comfortably between two worlds — and two (well, four) languages. London, in fact, isn't new to me — I lived here briefly over a decade ago, long before Prisographs existed, so the city's streets, seasons and light feel more like meeting an old friend than discovering somewhere new. Whether you're a local couple, a visiting family from Asia, or planning a destination shoot, we can plan your session in the language you're most comfortable in.
The meaning behind the name
The name Prisographs is inspired by Man Ray's "Rayograph" — an image created through light alone, without a camera. Like a Rayograph, every photograph I make is more than a record. It's a singular impression of who you are, preserved in light. My mission is simple: to make images as distinctive and unforgettable as the people in them.
